What was the Relationship between God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan?

Many people used to ask Questions about the "Relationship between God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan". All of them First Ask,

    "Was it True that God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan were Relatives ? "

had At least Two  Relationships.

First Relationship of God Brahma and God Shiv (Shiva) was Father and Son. Birth of Shiva was happened due to Brahma gets immensely angry when  four brahmachaaris refusedfor help in creation and his forehead turns blue. A small human like creature takes birth from his brain. This is when Brahma realises that Sada-Shiva’s boon is coming true. Soon a god with three eyes was born.

The Second Relationship of God Brahma and God Shiv (Shiva) was Brother in Law. The Consort of Brahma is Goddess Saraswati . Since Goddess Saraswati is God Shiv's Sister (She was Created by Brahma through his body for help in creation.) God Shiv (Shiva) became God Brahma's Brother in Law.  Brahma married Saraswati due to he couldn't control the Lust for his own daugter due her Abnormal Beauty.

Through Goddess Saraswati, God Brahma had Atleast 9 Sons. They are , Jambavan, Manu, Narada, Daksha, Marichi, Atri, Pulastya, Vashishtha, Chitragupta, etc.

Back to Our main topic "Relationships between God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan".  There are Atleast Three Relationships, All relationships go through Goddess Saraswati, God Brahma's Sons (Daksha, Marichi, Pulastya,).

Sage Daksha and his wife Prasuti had Aditi, Diti, Sati, Svaha, Swadharm, Rohini, Revati, Rati, Khyati and many others daughters

Sage Marichi and his wife Kala had a son called Kashyapa. Kashyapa had Atleast 13 Consorts. They were

Among Diti's Children, Hiranyakashipu, Mayasura  are important for the topic of Relationships between God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan.

Hiranyakashipu and Kayadu had a Son called Prahlada whom the father of Virochana. Virochana was the Father of Mahabali. He was the Father of Banasura, Ratanamala, Vajrajwala. This Vajrajwala (mother of Nikumbha) married  with Kumbhakarna (brother of Ravan). As like this Vajrajwala  became Great King Ravan's Sister in Law. This was First and the Longest Relationship between God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan.

Mayasura and Apsara Hema had Two daughters called Mandodari and Dhanyamalini. Both Sisters married with Great King Ravan. Mandodari (Mother of Meghnaad (also known as Indrajit because he defeated Indra), the most powerful son of Ravana, Atikaya, Akshayakumara ) was the queen consort of Ravana while Dhanyamalini (Mother of Narantaka, Devantaka, Trishira, Prahasta) was the second wife. This was Second and A little Long Relationship between God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan.

 
Sage Pulastya and his Consort Manini (also known as Havirbhu) had Sage Vishrava and the great Rishi, Agastya. Sage Vishrava had Two Consorts . Sage Bharadwaja's daughter, Ilavida,(mother of Kubera,), Asura, Sumali, and his wife, Ketumatis' daughter Kaikesi (mother of Ravana, Shurpanakha, Kumbhakarna, and Vibhishana).

As you can See Great King Ravan was a Son of Sage Vishrava and A Grandson of Sage Pulastya and A Great Grandson of Goddess Saraswati, God Brahma. This was Third and Shortest Relationship between God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan.

As you can Observs  both God Karthikeya ( Katharagama) and Great King Ravan are Direct Decendents from Same Bloodline. These are the Relationships between God Karthikeya and Great King Ravan which I could observe.
